TEXTS: 2 Samuel 23: 14-17, 2 Corinthians 12: 13-15

INTRODUCTION
The Almighty God is looking for those who will satisfy His deepest need. This people must have certain qualities:

They must be people of action. They must be single-minded. They must be men and women of focus those who are sure of where they are going. You should make up your mind on what you want to be for the Lord and what you want to accomplish for His glory-Phil. 3: 13-14

They must be men and women of sacrifice. Several. divine assignments that will be given to you will require sacrifice 2Cor. 12: 15. To satisfy the King of Kings, your life must be one of continuous sacrifice.

They must be absolutely loyal – Rev. 2:10. Total loyalty is expected of anyone who will truly satisfy Heaven’s requirements for the last days’ assignments. For your loyalty to be absolute, no alternative must take over your personal devotion to Christ: not television, not newspapers and not any relationship with man or woman.

Another quality is courage. The courageous people in spite if their fears, go ahead and obey God’s Word e.g. the three Hebrews-Daniel 3:13-18 and Paul the apostle-
Acts. 20: 22-24.

They must be tough and rugged. They must be people who can tolerate hardship – 2 Timothy 2:3. They have developed thick skin to afflictions, persecutions, difficulties and problems. For such people, discouragements and disappointments cannot stop their journey to Heaven. They are immune to abuses. If you are not yet prepared to die for God, He may not use you for top assignments He has reserved close to His heart.

They must be very careful and strategic in approach to kingdom assignments- John 15:16; 1 Cor. 9:25-27. So that you can be available to serve God as long as He wants you to, take time to rest, do daily exercises, do everything in moderation, watch what you eat and how much you eat.

CONCLUSION
Do you possess the qualities to satisfy God’s greatest needs? Ask for grace to possess them.
