TEXTS: 1 Corinthians 12:1-11

INTRODUTION:
We shall be studying the first gift of the Holy Spirit today’s lesson –I Cor. 12:8.

THE WORD OF WISDOM
This is one of profit with .The gift of the Holy Spirit available to believers in Christ to profit with. The gift of wisdom is the promise of the Father. It is divine word or statements to God‘s elect especially at the time of needs of what to say e.g. during trial, persecution for gospel sake, Luke 21:12-15. It is the divine leakage of divine information expressed in words.  Wisdom and knowledge complement each other .Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. The Lord manifested this gift several times- Matt. 22:15-22. King Solomon was also endowed with Word of wisdom- 2Kings.3:16-18. If requested, for it can be given- James 1:5.

CONCLUSION:
This gift can become yours on sincere demand.
