BE AN EXAMPLE OF KINGDOM FAMILY
TEXTS: Joshua 24: 15

INRODUCTION:
In this age when everybody is doing his own thing in his own way, we as kingdom family must take our stand for the Lord and bean example of godly family.

BE AN EXAMPLE OF A GODLY COUPLE
Wife should be an example of submission - Eph.5:22; Col. 3:18; should give honour and respect- Est. 1:20  I Tim. 3:11, Eph. 5:33; should be hospitable and be a home maker Prov. 31:27, Titus 2:4-5. Husband should be an example of love -Eph. 5:25. in leaving and cleaving - Gen. 2:23-24; Eccl. 9:9, honouring his wife - 1 Pet. 3:7. Striving to understand her 1 Pet. 3:7.

BE GUIDED BY BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES
Let your actions and decisions be guided by the word - Ps. 119:105, Ps. 119:130, Ps. 119:89. When the principles of God's word are well taken, they bring joy and rejoicing to your heart and you will experience God's love and manifestation.

 BE A GOOD INFLUENCE ON YOUR CHILDREN
Parents have a great influence on their children. Your lifestyle impacts them greatly. Prov. 22:6; Eph. 6:4; Gen. 18:19; I Kings. 22:52; Jer. 9:14; 2 Chro. 17:3; 2 Tim. 1:5.

 LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR
The church is supposed to be involved in social services. Show love to the less-privileged - Matt. 25:34-40, Lk. 10:33-37; Rom. 15:1; Jam. 1:27
DECIDE TO BEAR FRUIT

Your family must be such that will bring other families to the Lord by your exemplary Christian living and evangelism -John 15:1-2; Matt. 3:8; Jn. 15:16; Lk. 13:6.
PERSERVERE ON THIS WAY

The journey to the kingdom requires perseverance or longsuffering -Eph. 6:18; Luke. 9:62; I Kgs. 18:21; Hosea 6:4.

CONCLUSION
What you know is not as important as what you do with what you know. Be a doer of the word.
